Drums
Adam has been playing drums in rock & roll bands since the early-1990’s, and was part owner of the second iteration of Edmontone Studio in Edmonton. After a casual conversation with the original owner (who was moving away) while Confusionaires were there making the first album, Adam some long-time associates purchased the studio. This became The Confusionaires’ safe haven during the Covid-19 pandemic, where we could safely distance and isolate in accordance with the provincial guidelines at the time.
Adam’s responsibilities outside of the ‘boom-clack’ of the drum kit have grown to include all of the preproduction recording for all of The Confusionaires’ albums so far, and the final recordings of ‘From The Headache…’ ‘Jerk Reaction 1 & 2’ and ‘Westernization’ which were all done at Edmontone. Since moving out of that space, we’re now recording demos and preproduction in our rehearsal space, dubbed ‘Deadmontone.’
When Adam is in his non-Confusionaires time, he’s educating himself on the cutting-edge technology going into today’s super-yachts (not joking), and making beep-boop noises on his collection of synthesizers.
